Microsoft released their latest update in the form of Windows 10 at the end of 2015 and although there is no doubt that in time it will become the operating system to have, just for now we are still advising caution when upgrading.
If you upgrade, you may find important hardware in your computer won’t work, because a driver may not exist for it yet. There’s also the possibility of conflicts with software you already have on your system, or vital software you currently use not being compatible with Windows 10. In particular, it is likely that your antivirus and/or security products may not be fully compatible with Windows 10, so you may be unprotected for a period of time until updates are available.
We have worked with our customers and have a comprehensive list of business software which may have problems with the new operating system.
Our advice is to call us if you’re looking to upgrade to Windows 10, and we can help you identify any issues of compatibility before they impact on your business.
